Before becoming the official watch of James Bond, the Seamaster was nothing more than a modest, water- resistant dress-watch when it was launched in 1948. Today, Omega’s collection of Seamasters has a variety of famous pieces and one item that seeks to bring the line back to its Troots. The only detail is that you can only buy it in Venice, Italy.

The Seamaster “Edizione Venezia” takes on a slim, rounded shape similar to the original with a thin bezel and a doomed dial. The case of this special model has been crafted from brushed and polished steel. 18k Sedna gold has been used to create the indexes. Inside rests Omega’s anti- magnetic and automatic co-axial movement. Water resistance is modest at 60 meters, but it keeps in the spirit with the original’s daily watch.

The steel model will be available for $ 6,483 and the gold version will go for $ 14,505. If you’re not planning to visist Venice in near future. Let’s hope Omega releases a similar version available for the rest of the world.
