The Belmond Grand Hibernian, first luxury sleeper train in Ireland, offers travelers an unforgettable way to see the country in style. Guests have the chance to experience landscapes that vary from astonishing coasts, fascinating cities and the wonderful green countryside that make up this lovely land.
Up to 40 guests can stay in the elegant cabins of the Belmond Grand Hibernian. Their design and decoration were inspired by classic Georgian architecture, displaying a great balance of tradition and modernity. The Irish culture is present in all the details of the journey. The observation car brings the same warmth and elegance of a Dublin saloon. Guests can relax with a pint of local stout while enjoying live music and the stunning scenery through the large windows. The equally amazing restaurant offers guests the most authentic Irish cuisine, including ingredients from the regions the trail travels through.
The Belmond Grand Hibernian is currently offering two, four and six-night vacation journeys. Each journey starts in Dublin and can go as far as Northern Island, depending on the option chosen. The ‘Taste of Ireland’ package travels from Dublin to Belfast and then Waterford is a great suggestion, but if you have the chance, go for the ‘Grand Tour of Ireland’ and see everything! For seven nights, the route goes from Dublin to Cork, Killarney, Galway, Westport, Belfast and Waterford, then returns back to the capital city.
